Wentworth greets a student population of approximately 700 students in grades 3-5 annually, along with over 100 staff members. Students gain perspective on the achievement of good citizenship, growing as learners and practicing decision-making within a diverse set of experiences.

Every student has a right to a free, appropriate public education. Scarborough Public Schools assures that every identified child of school age will receive an appropriate program of instruction and supportive services designed to meet his or her individual needs.

Scarborough Public Schools publishes a Parent-Student Handbook each school year. This handbook outlines the operational guidelines that are important for parents and caregivers to know. They are guided by policies of the Scarborough Board of Education and other authorities such as the State of Maine and Federal Government.
