Physical Education

At Wentworth, physical education is the place for our students to escape to a world of movement exploration and personal discovery. We offer a wide range of sports and recreational activities including gymnastics, rock wall climbing, creative game play and ever popular inline skating. We create a positive learning environment to promote the development of the whole child, physically, socially and cognitively. We utilize the self created STARS program teaching safety, teamwork, attitude, rules and sportsmanship skills to help promote the importance of working together to accomplish success for the individual as well as the group. Through play at this age the children learn how to make healthy and responsible choices about their wellness for a lifetime.
